April 3: Firefighters Friday at O'Sullivan's. 640 Grand Ave Carlsbad

April 4/5: Tartan Day. Celebrate the official day of the Tartan with the House of Scotland at the International Cottages in Balboa Park on Saturday and Sunday noon to 4 pm. Enjoy Scottish food, dance, and music (alas no whisky) on Saturday. Wear your plaids.

April 6: History Class, House of Ireland Balboa Park 7 pm. Join Pat Flannery for an interesting look at Irish History.

April 15: TAX DAY! Celebrate the dropping off of your tax return at O'Sullivan's with a $3 shot 6 pm to close

April 25: The Blokes with Irish Dancers at O'Sullivan's. 640 Grand Ave Carlsbad 2 - 4 pm.

April 28: Voices of Ireland by Write Out Loud. 7:30 pm. Take an evening to listen to several short stories by Irish authors wonderfully read and performed by local Actors. This evening of tales hearkens to the old days of story telling. $12 at door, $10 if you mention the this newsletter.
