We've lived 6 months in Tempe AZ (we haven't been impressed) and more than 30 years in Houston and we're ready for a change as children grow up and move. With more than 7,000 restaurants within the city limits, San Diego is guaranteed to please foodies who want to call this city home. There is also San Diego State University (SDSU), which is proud to create compassionate leaders and ethical innovators through its 97 bachelor's degree programs, 84 master's degree programs and 23 doctoral programs. The fact is that San Diego is a car-centric city and, as a result, parking is an absolute problem.
I feel very fortunate to be able to be in San Diego and experience this life that so many people talk about. One of my favorite things about living in San Diego is that planning based on the weather is rarely a consideration because 95% of the time, it's going to be great outside. With a warm, sunny climate all year round, picturesque natural beauty, a thriving job market, and a wealth of things to do, it's no surprise that San Diego is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States and one of the best places to live in California.
